Our series is shot completely observing the 'Shelter in Place' order. Cast members undertook the task of filling multiple 'on-set' roles. They operated camera, audio & lighting under the virtual guidance of our director & cinematographer who both worked remotely over video conference.

On NYE, 2019, Jo spots Debika across a crowded room at a party in New York's West Village. They share a smile seconds before Debika's friends pull her away to another party. With some good detective work and the help of social media, Jo finds her online. This is where their story begins, across the virtual universe — Debika in Australia and Jo in San Francisco.

Fast forward to March 2020. Jo and Debika make plans for their first official date deciding to meet at a secluded AirBnB in Hawaii, but with the threat of COVID-19 increasing, San Francisco orders residents to shelter in place and Australia prepares to shut its borders to international travel.

This is where our story begins, with two women still a world away from each other. How will they navigate disappointment, fear, falling in love, and virtually interfering sisters in this new world of alone, TOGETHER…
